TRACKOS Features
Billing is an important piece of the WiFi puzzle, and one for which TRACKOS provides exceptional
functionality that is not only needed but required to ensure accurate, reliable and fail-safe billing
for end-user activity. NNU accepts payments via Amex, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and Diner's
Club cards. NNU maintains multiple credit card processing relationships to provide an automatic
fail-over to a secondary processor for credit card authorization and settlement if the primary
processor fails. This is another step taken by NNU to ensure maximum uptime for the WiFi network.
TRACKOS includes features to monitor thresholds and trigger alarms for suspicious charges and activity
and initiate automated collection on delinquent accounts. TRACKOS automatically sends an e-mail notice
to users with credit cards nearing their expiration date. TRACKOS can charge credit cards in more than
100 different currencies. This allows network operators to offer service in virtually any country and
bill end-users in their local currency.
Rate Plans
NNU customers have the option to decide on the type of Internet access service offered to users at each individual hotspot location - free, paid or a combination of free and paid access.
- a prepaid service that allows users to purchase, in advance, an access code having a designated dollar value,
- a pay-per-use service that would require payment each time a user accesses the service (ideal at locations where users may not be "regulars" and only need to access the Internet occasionally),
- a day-pass service that allows users to gain access a day at a time
- a subscription service that allows users unlimited access for a period of time upon entering a
user name and password for a monthly or annual fee (ideal at locations where many users are "regulars").
NNU customers offering paid access services can choose from a broad range of highly configurable
rate plan available in TRACKOS.
