Wireless users access the Internet via captive portal pages. Because the portal page
is the initial web page users see, it is important that it is customized to
meet the business needs of NNU customers. Using TRACKOS, NNU customers can easily
control various components of the captive portal page including advertising content,
user information, user rates, web links and more. TRACKOS enables changes to be made
individually for a single device or simultaneously for all devices at a venue or across
the entire network. TRACKOS provides a basic portal page template that can be customized,
as well as a more advanced toolbox of common gateway interfaces (CGIs) that provides a
developer with a blank canvas from which to create a unique portal page.
NetNearU also provides custom development services to its customers. Below are examples
of current captive portal pages NetNearU hosts.
