Dan Phelps joined DTEC in 1999 and focuses on networking investments in both the enterprise and carrier markets. He currently serves on the boards of several DTEC portfolio companies, including Infoblox, Mobilitec, NetNearU, Nexthop Technologies, Personeta and Rubicon Genomics. He is also responsible for DTEC's investment in Intellon. Previously, he served on the board of Clarity Technologies, acquired by Cambridge Silicon Radio (LSE:CSR.L). Before joining DTEC, Dan was with the Pritzker Financial Office in Chicago, where his responsibilities focused on principal investments in a variety of industries. Previously, he was a member of the financial services group at Ernst & Young. He graduated with Honors from The Ohio State University with a BSBA and received his MBA from the University of Chicago. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
