NetNearU Simplifies Wi-Fi Hotspot Deployments

Company develops web-based tool to configure wireless hotspot, billing services and introduces the WSG 4000, a low-cost wireless gateway.

This tool consists of only six steps and allows a hotspot network operator to begin generating Wi-Fi hotspot revenues in minutes.

This web-based tool allows hotspot operator’s to configure their hotspot networks to TRACKOS™.  TRACKOS is the NetNearU system that manages the operators’ hotspot networks, manages end-user accounts, processes end-user credit card transactions, and provides the reporting required to accurately calculate each operator’s revenue share. Once a hotspot operator walks through the six easy steps to configure their wireless gateway with T RACKOS, all credit card merchant accounts are automatically configured and user activity can begin immediately.

NetNearU is also introducing a new wireless gateway, the NNU WSG 4000. This unit includes a built-in four-port hub, and is designed to scale from a small to a large location with the addition of access points. It also supports PPoE, PPTP, and IPSec ensuring the widest compatibility with ISPs and corporate VPNs. The cost of the WSG 4000 is $499 or less, depending on quantity.
