What Other Locations Can My Customers Visit?
One of the values of being a member of the NetNearU network is the ability for your
customers to visit other locations when they’re away. A network operator is automatically
paid through TRACKOS for any roaming revenues incurred on their system. Look in TRACKOS
for the Roaming Report.
Here is a Sampling of Locations That Your End-Users Can Visit:
- Miami International Airport
- Chicago O’Hare Hilton
- Baltimore Washington International (BWI) Airport
- Times Square, New York
- Over twenty locations in and around the Baltimore / Washington DC area
- Thirteen locations in and around Los Angeles, California
- On the ski slops in Winter Park, Colorado
- Royal Kahana Aoao in Lahiana, Hawaii
- Westin Resort in St. Thomas, USVI
- Marinas around Seattle, Washington and Vancouver, British Columbia
- Four Locations around Phoenix, Arizona
You can always see the latest wireless locations available at: http://wireless.nnu.com/nnucorp
Helpful TRACKOS Tips:
- If you want to navigate quickly to a specific unit in TRACKOS, type the
System ID in the field in the bottom left of the TRACKOS screen.
- A new wireless report is available that allows you to see how a specific
location is doing. It is called the RAP Revenue Report. This is a very useful
tool to calculate commissions to locations and to keep an eye on your location ROI.
Helpful Marketing Tips:
Some ideas to rapidly increase your hotspot revenues:
- Develop Point of Sale materials at checkout and cash registers that includes
instructions as to how to connect, pricing, etc.
- Supply a regular customer or associate with a free account on the stipulation
that he/she actively promote wireless and help customers set up wireless on their machines.
- Give away a free wireless networking card if customer signs up for a 12 month contract.
- Set up wireless terminals using NNU Runtime Engine for Wi-Fi in the location.
These terminals consist of low cost PCs that have a wireless networking card included. These
PCs can be set up anywhere in the location (do not have to be physically plugged into a
network connection) and will access the internet via the same logon screen that wireless
laptop/PDA users see. Runtime Engine for Wi-Fi allows the terminals to be “locked
down” meaning users can only access the browser and restricts the Internet sites users can visit.
- Rent Wireless cards for laptop users
- Develop promotions and bundles for wireless access and products. Examples are: Buy an Ex
Large coffee, get 2 hours of free access, or Buy 2 hours access, get free coffee.
